William Lane, Editor-in-Chief

About William Lane - Editor-in-Chief for EvolutDesign.com

William Lane, the Editor-in-Chief for one of the fastest-growing home and architecture media sites on the internet. With a diverse background in technology and advertising, William brings a unique perspective to his role, having navigated the ever-evolving digital landscape throughout his career.

William’s educational journey began in Syracuse, where he studied advertising. However, his professional experience has been as eclectic as a charcuterie board, ranging from dot-com ventures to digital advertising before it was mainstream, and even early forays into digital wallets and online gaming.

His career has been marked by several waves of industry transformation. In the first wave, William sold digital advertisements to tier-1 brands still grappling with online and digital ads. He monetized subscribers, newsletters, and advertising units, and experimented with early broadband internet products like digital video before the age of streaming.

The second wave saw William diving into the nascent stages of emerging digital experiences such as e-commerce, online entertainment, online games, and early mobile applications. Inspired by innovators like Elon Musk, William worked with a variety of early “smart” devices, such as Palm Pilots, Windows CE handhelds, HP PCs, Blackberries, and Motorola flip phones. He connected payments, advertising, entertainment, and tournaments, creating a community of end users.

Now in the third wave, William has taken the helm at EvolutDesign.com, focusing on homes, architecture, and even celebrity homes from time to time. Drawing on his extensive experience in diverse businesses and industries, he is dedicated to building a solid team and growing their media publishing business.

As a passionate and innovative leader, William embraces challenges and continually pushes the boundaries of what is possible. With his technological background and wealth of experience, he is shaping the future of home and architecture media, creating a platform that captivates and informs readers around the world.
